Our story
From Second Chances to Lasting Change
From Second Chances to Lasting Change
S&D Enterprises CDC, Inc. was founded in January 2019 by Sharon Driver, a justice-involved individual whose personal journey inspired a greater purpose. After returning to society, she became determined not only to rebuild her own life, but to help others break the cycle of recidivism and rediscover their path to stability and success.
What began as a single residential unit has since grown into a comprehensive and impactful Dignified Re-Entry Program.
Growth & Impact
Through commitment, vision, and community support, S&D Enterprises has expanded into a network of over a dozen homes, providing more than 100 beds by 2024. This growth reflects a deep commitment to addressing the real needs of individuals transitioning back into society.
What We Provide
Our program is designed to support the whole person—offering more than just housing, but a pathway to independence and purpose.
We provide:
- Safe, stable, and structured housing
- Access to employment opportunities and workforce support
- Mental health referrals and wellness resources
- Life skills development and personal growth support
- Connections to essential community services
Our Mission in Action
At S&D Enterprises, we believe successful re-entry requires more than a place to stay—it requires opportunity, structure, and support. Every individual we serve is given the tools and encouragement needed to rebuild their life with dignity and confidence.
Building Futures, Breaking Cycles
Our work is rooted in one powerful belief: transformation is possible. By addressing the barriers that often lead to recidivism, we are helping individuals create new futures—not just for themselves, but for their families and communities.
